On Monday 8 August 2022, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) selected a fifteen-member strong team for the Asia Cup 2022. In this tournament, the team will be commanded by Rohit Sharma and the vice-captain will be KL Rahul.
There was curiosity among the people about the selection of the team for the Asia Cup, and whether the name of Virat Kohli would be included in this list or not.
The former captain Virat Kohli was not in form for some time, as Kohli has now become a part of the squad for Asia Cup, will he keep the curiosity of the audience with his incredible batting? Especially people will be expected with the bat of Virat in the match between India and Pakistan.
Jasprit Bumrah will be ruled out of the 2022 Asia Cup due to a back injury, but sources have confirmed that Bumrah will have to be ruled out of the six-nation continental tournament.
How Bumrah got injured is still in doubt. He is currently in the United States, enjoying the holidays with his family and friends.
